Community Services for the Blind (CSB) is the used merchandise solicitation division (UMSD) of Community Services for the Blind and Partially Sighted (CSBPS). Our purpose is to raise funds to support CSBPS programs and services for blind and visually impaired persons. "Community Services for the Blind" is the legal trade name for CSBPS, and the public name used in relation to UMSD

UMSD began in 1979, and the contract with Savers, the parent company of Value Village thrift stores, started in 1984.

CSB, using its own employees, telephones residents in King and Snohomish Counties and in Bellingham within Whatcom County, WA, to solicit tax-deductible donations of unwanted but new or reusable clothing and household items. Residents simply place donations outside their homes for free pickup by CSB.

CSBPS is registered with the Secretary of State (800) 332-GIVE.
